I've been listening to his book, "Getting Everything You Can" on audio. If you want to crack the code on his communication style, realize...

-It's 100% consistent, from the first word to the last. It never waivers. He never tries to short change you.

-It's somewhat counter inuitive and unnatural. I think thats why its so powerful. Most people would lose their focus, or talk about themselves. Or cheat you in some way. Or use a shortcut.

-Also, he borrows heavily from Claude Hopkins. In his book, My Life in Advertising/Scientific Advertising, he says, you're not there to amuse. Basically give full value. I think other speaks would crack jokes, or go off on tangents.

His style is well worth studying and learning more about. It's one of a kind as far as I can tell.

I'm a big fan of Jay, I think he's profound and incredible. I listen to him all the time on audio...have mastermind marketing and many of his books and seminars.

He amazes me because there's nobody else in second place. If you look on ebay, his books routinely sell for $100-150. His tapes sell for $200-300. Very few people can command that type of premium, in any subject.

What I take away from the video...

His communcation style, which is excellent. Great to model if you're a speaker or presenter.

The Q&A is profound. Everyone is obsessed with making money, yet no one thinks of those obvious solutions. Understanding why that is, will give you a big edge in business.

And its so rich in content. He never holds back.
