The Renegade Network Marketer System has a lot of great affiliate products in the back end and the latest edition is nothing short of phenomenal in my opinion. When you are generating leads with the Renegade Network Marketer or any business for that matter, it is essential that you have a very systematic follow-up strategy in place. The Oprius system will organise your work and never let you miss an appointment or follow-up task.
Oprius is a sales contact management system that was designed with the mlm industry in mind. - Keep Track of Your Relationships - Keep track of everything to do with a prospect/distributor, including: phone calls, voicemails, emails, tools sent, tasks, 5 compelling reasons, where they are in the recruiting or getting started process and much more.

Revolution WordPress Theme
February 18, 2008
This post is more of a rave than a review. I love Brian Gardner’s themes and his latest offering, The Revolution Pro, has not let me down, it is a cracker!
This site is a customized working version of the Pro theme and I am so happy I could do back flips. The home page is the part of this theme that I really love; it allows my blog readers to find relevant information super easily.
Let’s break down some of the components and see what is so good about Brian’s Gardner’s latest WordPress theme.
Here is a screen shot of the top half of the Home page:
1. The home page acts much more like a traditional website but at the same time, it has the feel of a blog. The tabs across the top are all static pages. This is perfect for letting people have easy access to important information.
2. The second nav bar is what Brian calls the ‘tabber’ section. Each one of those tabs is a different category that I have chosen. Each time a new post is made in one of those categories, it will show here. So essentially, you have your 7 most important categories at the fingertips of your readers.
This makes it super easy for your visitors to find posts they are interested in. The other very cool feature is that it pulls a different image from each post that you make. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Instead of just a link for your visitors to see, they have an image to capture their attention.
Once they have finished reading, they can easily head for home and find something else of interest. The longer people stay on your site and read, the more the search engines will view your site as a creditable source of information. So this home page is making the search engines very happy because of all of the short keyword descriptions of the posts on the home page, and hopefully; visitors will find more content and stay longer (our whole objective, really who cares what Google thinks).
3. This is a preset box coded for YouTube videos that you wish to display. To change the video, you simply copy the url of the desired video and paste it in the theme options area and it is done. It is super easy.
Lets move on down to the bottom half of the Home Page…
This area again is designed so that readers have as many of your blog posts easily available as possible. There will be 14 available posts for your visitors to choose from.
You will see where I have put ‘five links text’; at the top is the most current post and then there are 4 links to related posts from that category (not showing at the moment as I am yet to post in these categories).
Next you will see the area to the right, I have named this, ‘Product Review’. This will pull the four most recent posts from this category, including the images that you choose.
This home page is so impressive because of the ease in which people can browse your categories. There is access to 10 main categories on my home page and 21 links to my most recent posts. Unlike a typical ‘Recent Post’ area on a blog, this home page gives the visitors images to draw them into your posts. This can only help people click through your site and that is exactly what you and the search engines want.
A few features that I didn’t use…
Usually there is a sub nav bar under the main nav bar where you could have another 8 or so categories. This will also have a drop down box showing the posts within each category. I have modified my blog for simplicity sake.
The main nav bar and the sub nav bar actually both have drop down boxes so that visitor can see all the the posts that you have made in each category and all of the sub-pages in your static content. This makes it so easy for your visitors to find what they are looking for it is crazy. Essentially this theme is the ultimate content management system.
There are a few other things that I don’t have on my blog that come standard with this theme. You will notice in the upper right hand corner of the screen shot; the email, RSS, and Comments icon. Again, this theme is making your visitors experience as easy as possible.
The next thing you will see is the Flickr photos. This is basically a media theme, but if you where doing a book review site, you could put images of books you are reviewing. If you had an art-work site…I am sure you see what I mean.
The Blog Proper…
Once a person navigates to a post from the home page, the Revolution theme then reverts to a more typical blog format. The side bar to the right has some pretty nice features as well. The email subscription box at the top comes standard with this theme. To activate it, all as you need to do is go over to FeedBurner and grab you id number, copy it, and then paste it in the theme options area and you are set.
Under the subscribe box is an area where you can put your featured ad, this would be for the number one product that you want to promote. To get this ad working, you simply go to theme options, enter the url of the image you want to appear in the ad, and then in the area below you enter the url where you want to direct people. It is as easy as that.
The other thing that I have not used is the Google Adsense feature. This allows you to put Google ads very neatly at the bottom of each of your posts (I personally would rather people stay on my site but for the people that like adsense, this is very nice).
I am not a techie kind of a guy, and I am definitely not a coder, but this theme is well within my ability to work with. The other great thing is the support forum, it is incredibly interactive and so if you get stuck, someone will help you out, and usually very quickly.
So these are the main things that I love about Brian Gardner’s latest Revolution theme. There are some other things that I have not discovered yet, but I have only been using it for less than a week so it will only be a matter of time.
Big Thumbs Up
So without even a trace of reservation, the Revolution Pro WordPress theme gets the big thumbs up from me.
I was so happy with this theme, I purchased the developers package so that I could build my other niche sites using variations of the Revolution theme. There are 6 to choose from, each one more suited to a particular industry.
So what are you waiting for? Go grab one of Brian’s Revolution themes today! Get it here…
Instant Teleseminar Review
February 18, 2008
Have you ever been shut out of a conference call because the pin # keeps coming up as invalid? Have you ever been in the middle of a fantastic training call only to be unceremoniously booted off for no good reason?
Such are the ways of free teleconferencing lines. It can be a really frustrating experience and can cost the host dearly in non returning attendees.
I finally got sick of people complaining that they couldn’t get into my calls and so I decided to shop around and see what was available.
Instant Teleseminar is the service that I chose to stick with in the end, here are some of the reasons why;
1. Excellent call quality, even though I call internationally to host my calls
2. Live web simulcast, this gives people the choice to listen via the ‘net or call in.
3. Easy to use dashboard. It is very easy to setup a professional call
4. Professional looking welcome page
5. Easy to use Q&A box
6. The big button - this allows you to put the links to various products that you are promoting. This alone is worth the monthly cost if you are doing regular calls.
7. Recording feature. There is an after event page where people can return to listen to the teleconference.
Pre-event Page
I have had many teleconferences using this service now and apart from the fist time I used it and had troubles due to someone hacking into there system, it has been seamless. The experience on each end is A1!
If you would like to see what this service can do for your business, then go over to Instant Teleseminar to get a free trial account…
Host Gator Review
February 17, 2008
Web hosting is one of the key elements for an online business. Choosing a web hosting company that is reliable, inexpensive, and has all the features that you will need is critical.
There are a number of things that you should consider when choosing a web hosting company.
- Cost per month
- Storage
- Bandwidth
- Domains allowed
- Uptime
- User friendliness
- Available features
Let’s look at each of the components so that we can understand the criteria in order to choose the right web hosting plan.
Cost per month: you should be able to get web hosting for under $10 per month, anything more is too expensive unless you are storing a lot of video and have a large audience.
Storage: this will not be a consideration for most people. The least expensive plan with Host Gator for example allows 350 gigabytes of storage. And just how much is that you might ask? Well there is 1440 megabytes in a gigabyte. That is a lot! To put it into perspective, let consider the training videos that I host on my account.
The average video I produce is around 10 minutes long and usually about 80mb in size. That would be 18 training videos per gigabyte. If I have the most inexpensive hosting plan with 350gb, it would allow me to store 5,400 10 minute video tutorials and still have 50gb left over for other files!
As you can see, storage is not an issue.
Bandwidth: This simply means the amount of space available to deliver information.
Domains allowed: a domain name is simply the address or the url of a website. The amount of domains allowed will determine how many websites you can have on your hosting account. I currently have 6 websites with my account and will probably end up with over 10 within the next few years.
Uptime: Uptime refers to the amount of time statically you website is live on the Internet without interruptions.
User friendliness: I have had hosting plans where I was bamboozled by the way the information was stored. Control Panel is what I prefer, it is very easy and intuitive to use.
Available Features: there are a lot of features that are usually on offer with web hosting, the ones I consider most important are; Fantasico (easy WordPress installation, PBP forum, and a whole more), MySLQ data base, shopping cart, PHP scripts allowed, Pop3 email accounts. There are a lot of other features, but these are the ones that allow me to have my online business running smoothly.
There are 3 possible plans for shared hosting with Host Gator;
1) Hatchling - $4.95
2) Baby - $7.95
3) Swamp - $12.95
Let have a look at the Host Gator Plans
Obviously, Host Gator fits all of the requirements with ease. It is very affordable to have a e-business.
If you go over to the Host Gator site, you will also see that all of the other requirements for web hosting are also met with a lot of other added extras as well. When you get to the site, you will see the tab for ‘Web Hosting’, that is the tab that will take you to the plans. The plan that you will need is the, ‘Shared Hosting’ option.

My Review of Your Squeeze Page Version 3.0
February 17, 2008
In this post I wanted to bring to your attention a piece of software that I use all the time.
If you have been using squeeze pages, then this is definitely for you. It is Matthew Glanfield’s Your Squeeze Page Version 3.0.
Matthew claims (I will back him on this) that with this software you can:
-create professional looking squeeze pages in under 5 minutes
-add audio, video, or other media to your squeeze page
-customize your thank you page according to what the visitor entered in the squeeze page
-automatically test and track every component of your squeeze page
Now, before I go any further, you should first determine whether you need squeeze page software in the first place. If you are trying to build a list at all, then you need to use squeeze pages, but there are three different options on how to go about creating one:
1. Design your own.
This option requires at least basic knowledge in HTML, FTPing and even a bit of PHP if you want to do your own tracking.
If you are able to tackle all of these things, you can save yourself some money. However, you might still find yourself spending far too much time.
2. Hire a web designer.
In my opinion, this is much better than option #1. Rather than waste your own time trying to learn HTML and all those other acronyms, you can simply hire somebody to do it for you.
This will cost you anywhere from $50 to $500, depending on how much work you want them to do.
3. Use squeeze page software.
This option falls somewhere between #1 and #2. It will save you the hastle of learning HTML, and it will save you the money from hiring a web designer.
The only problem is finding the right software. A lot of them out there will quickly create squeeze pages, but then you have to figure out how to upload them using FTP, and how to test and track everything.
Others will save you the latter problems, but then aren’t very flexible.
I found Your Squeeze Page Version 3.0 to solve all of those problems. With it you can:
-host unlimited squeeze pages (no extra cost for each page)
-track, test, and split-test EVERY component, from your headlines to your audio and video to your offer
-avoid learning HTML, PHP, FTP, MySQL, and any other technical term
-build your list faster and better
You can check out a demo video here:

Be sure to post your comments on what you think of the software!
